Li'l Sambas Latest Update - February 13th 2026

It's been a while since the end of our fall season, and in celebration of Family Day we are hosting a kick-around for everyone aged 3 to 10 that has signed up for Lil Sambas in the past.

We have the full indoor soccer field at the RA Centre reserved on Family Day (this Monday) between 1.30pm and 3pm and its a FREE, active opportunity for kids to get out and run about despite the Ottawa winters. There will not be any structured programming, activities or coaches, just a chance for the kids to play with their parents or peers on the holiday. We'll provide the field and soccer balls, and we'll have the Li'l Sambas admin staff on hand to answer any questions you may have about our upcoming programs. You can always reach us at ottawa@lilsambassoccer.com, but we know some of you prefer to speak to us or ask questions in person before signing up. If your friends are thinking of joining Li'l Sambas this spring, they are also welcome to bring the kids along and ask questions at the dome.

Although the activity is completely free for parents who are registered on the Li'l Sambas website, we would ask those of you who can to bring some non-perishable food items or a small cash donation for the Ottawa Food Bank.

We do ask that every child is supervised by an adult, this is not a coached/supervised training session.

Li'l Sambas will be back in May 2026 for our sixth year of spring, summer and fall soccer, packed full of fun, friends and learning for kids aged 3-13. As always all programs will be in a central location on the premium turf field at Immaculata High School.

Our weekly development program offers skill-building drills and fun for kids aged 3-13, there is the house league for those kids who just want to play, and if your mini-Messi wants to do both, you can add on the second day for half-price!

Li'l Sambas - The Basics

• What is Li'l Sambas? - Li'l Sambas is a recreational soccer program for kids aged 3 to 13.
• When does it start? - Our next session is our SPRING 2026 session. It will begin on May 1st,
• Where do they play? All of our age-groups and sessions are at the same central Ottawa Location - the turf field at Immaculata High School, 140 Main Street in Old Ottawa South.
• Who can join? The program is open to girls and boys born between Jan 1st 2013 and Dec 31st 2022. It is open to everyone, there are no tryouts or entry requirements.

A Fresh Start for Kids Soccer in Ottawa

Give your kids the best possible start in the game - Ottawa Footy Sevens is kicking-off the new year with a new concept in house soccer programs in Ottawa.

Every session in every age-group is supervised by our professional coaching staff and always takes place on the latest generation of synthetic turf to ensure the best playing surface to master the soccer skills that will become the building blocks for the players' future development.
