FOOTY SEVENS - CURRENT COVID-19 PLAYER RULES AND PROTOCOL

Latest Update: March 1st, 2021

League Status: Current provincial restrictions prohibit indoor sports until February 11th. Our current leagues will resume on January 24th providing restrictions are not extended (Ottawa). Please note that Quebec's new Covid restrictions involve a curfew, amongst other restrictions, and may impact your participation in the league. Please consider your region's rules before registering. The following rules and protocols currently apply to anyone playing in any Footy Sevens socially distanced program or with any organization renting any facility from Footy Sevens for approved practices.

Update Regarding New Provincial Policiies: From the official Ontario website

The new limits will not apply to events or gatherings held in staffed businesses and facilities, such as bars, restaurants, cinemas, convention centres or banquet halls, gyms, and recreational sporting or performing art events. Existing rules, including public health and workplace safety measures, for these businesses and facilities continue to be in effect.

In order to participate in any program at the field, players must have read our rules and protocols thoroughly. We ask that Team Captains take a leadership role in this task by making sure all players have confirmed they have read the rules/protocols prior to arriving at the facilities.

Safety of our employees and league members remains our primary concern.  If safety protocols are not being followed we reserve the right to close down the facility immediately.

Accordingly, full compliance with ALL rules and protocols is mandatory for all players and compliance will be monitored.  Players or groups who do not comply with the protocols will face disciplinary action and will be asked to leave the facility.  There will be no other warnings.
