Growing Confidence Through Soccer

Following a successful Spring & Summer season that welcomed more than 30 girls to the field, the Li’l Sambas Girls Soccer Program returns this Fall.

Created in response to requests from families seeking a supportive environment for their daughters, our girls-only sections provide players with the opportunity to learn, develop, and enjoy the game alongside other girls in their age group.

The response this year exceeded our expectations. We saw players build confidence, develop new skills, form friendships, and discover a love for the game in a positive and encouraging environment.

We're excited to continue that momentum this Fall.

The girls program follows the same proven Li’l Sambas curriculum used across all of our programs, with a focus on learning through play, skill development, and small-sided games.

Girls are also welcome to register in any of our co-ed programs.

Fall 2026 Programs

Jabulanis Girls

Birth Years: 2019 & 2020

Players participate independently and rotate through small-group activities designed to develop fundamental soccer skills, coordination, and confidence.

Tangos Girls

Birth Years: 2017 & 2018

Players continue developing technical skills while learning decision-making, teamwork, and game awareness through age-appropriate activities and small-sided games.

Aztecas Girls

Birth Years: 2014, 2015 & 2016

Sessions focus on game-based learning, allowing players to improve their technical ability, confidence, and understanding of the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Our Developmental Philosophy

Li’l Sambas is a developmental recreational soccer program designed to help children build a strong foundation in the game.

Our sessions emphasize:

Physical Literacy

Developing balance, coordination, agility, and movement skills.

Technical Development

Building confidence with the ball through age-appropriate skill instruction.

Small-Sided Games

Creating more touches, more decisions, and more opportunities for players to learn while having fun.

While development is important, enjoyment remains our top priority. Children learn best when they are engaged, active, and having fun.

A Program Designed for Growth

The success of our Spring & Summer girls program demonstrated the value of providing dedicated opportunities for girls to play and develop together.

Whether your daughter is stepping onto the field for the first time or already loves the game, our goal is to create an environment where she feels supported, challenged, and excited to return each week.

Uniform Information

A one-time uniform fee of $33 + HST is required with a player's first Li’l Sambas registration.

The uniform includes:

• Li’l Sambas jersey

• Shorts

• Socks

The uniform may be used for all future Li’l Sambas programs and does not need to be purchased again unless a replacement is required.
