Winter Indoor Registration Now Open

Winter Season 2 Starts March 19th 2022 at uOttawa Lees Dome.

The current indoor session (Season 1) is on pause until the current Provincial restrictions are lifted.

The current details for all age groups for the second winter season are tentative. Once the first session restarts, we will be able to confirm the start and end dates, number of sessions and price for the late winter/early spring program. There is the possibility that the session may become an indoor/outdoor session (the first 2/3rd of the program indoors and then the last few dates outdoors) depending on the start date of the program. The cost of the program may come down too, depending on whether it is partly outdoor, the number of sessions and the dome capacity when it reopens.

How to reserve your place

You can reserve your place by clicking on the "Registration Invite" button. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED AT THIS TIME, it will just reserve your space in the program. Once we can confirm the details of the program, you will receive an e-mail confirming the details and you will have 48 hours to decide if you want to go ahead with registering and make the payment. If you decide not to go ahead, the space will simply go to the next person on the waitlist.

Li'l Sambas Soccer Programs - Winter 2021/22

We have enjoyed an incredible first-ever year of Li'l Sambas. Our Fall session has just come to an end and we had over 350 kids join us at Immaculata High School each week. It's now time to move indoors for the winter and we will be continuing our developmental soccer programs for kids on Saturdays at the uOttawa Lees Dome.

Next Season: Our 7-week late-winter session begins on March 19th and runs until April 30th - 7 sessions.

Capacity is more limited than it was during the summer season, so we may not be able to accommodate all players from the fall program.

A few notes about the indoor programs 2021/22

  • Please remember that the dome are subject to the Provincial proof of vaccination mandate and all coaches and parents entering the dome will have to provide proof of full vaccination and wear a mask upon entry and exit.
  • The Wee Copas program is a parent-child program. An adult will be on the field with their child at all times.
  • All winter programs are of 45 minutes duration.
  • Parking passes for uOttawa Lees Dome will be provided for those who need them.

You can find a gallery of photos from the first session on the Footy Sevens facebook page.

A one-off uniform purchase of $28 (+HST) is required on initial registration for Wee Copas, Li'l Sambas, and Tangos Programs. The Li'l Sambas' uniform purchase consists of the team shirt, shorts and socks and can be used for all future seasons. Returning players from our summer or fall outdoor programs who already have a uniform do not have to add it to their purchase.

Wee Copas Developmental Recreational Soccer Program - Winter Indoor Program 202- Session 2

Give your kids the best possible start in the game - Futuro Soccer Academy and Ottawa Footy Sevens have teamed up to kick-off a new concept in house program soccer in Ottawa.

Whether you boy or girl is completely new to the game or continuing with a sport they already love, we'll be teaming up the most-respected coaching group in the city with the best facilities and superior customer service.

Those of you who have watched the Futuro Academy kids train before or after your Footy Sevens game will already have been amazed at the level of technique and attention to detail at each session. Those same core principles will be adapted to each age level to give an unrivalled start in the game for both beginners and kids with a little experience. Although development will be the goal, we'll never lose sight of the importance of fun in every session. The more fun the kids are having, the more they are engaged and the more engaged they are the more they learn. Each session combines physical literacy, practice and team games.

Please Note: The Wee Copas age group is a parent-child program.

For the Wee Copas age-group, we have a parent/child portion to the program. We have found that the kids working directly with a parent under the instruction of a coach at that age group helps to accelerate the development and the kids get more out of the program. A parent (or guardian) will be on the field with each participant during the physical literacy and practice sections of each session. It won't take any specialist coaching knowledge, our head coach will be instructing the parents and the kids, but it will help to keep the little ones focussed and more able to pick it up when they have a familiar face working with them. If you have any questions about this aspect of the Wee Copas program, email us at admin@lilsambassoccer.com
